Our Founder
Mehmet İhsan Aydeğer, one of the respected names of the business world serving our country with his entrepreneurial and innovative mission, was born in Antakya in 1949.
After graduating from Istanbul Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Civil Engineering, Mehmet İhsan Aydeğer started his professional life as a civil engineer. He started his career as a Civil Control Engineer at Gaziantep Regional Directorate of Public Works. Since the day he started contracting, he has performed his profession in Mersin, Hatay, Isparta, Uşak, Yalova, Antalya, Afyon and many other cities. He took part in projects such as infrastructure, buildings, facilities and private residences here.
Mehmet İhsan Aydeğer, who founded Mimaray Construction in 1974, became the pioneer of human-oriented projects beyond the profit target with the vision and mission he brought to the company. Considering that the real capital is to invest in people, Aydeğer has been involved in many works that are sensitive to people and the environment.
Always involved in projects that will contribute to the development of his country, working with all his might to create employment, and carrying out his activities as a guide for the young people who will come after him, Aydeğer is known as a very valuable business person for our country.
Throughout his professional life, he worked as a founder or manager in many professional chambers and associations that he thought would contribute to our country. Some of these are as follows:
He founded Hatay Industry and Businessmen Association (HASİAD) in 1996 and served as its chairman between 1996-2000. He is currently the honorary president of Hasiad.
He also served as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hatay Spor for a period. He is the founder and still president of the Hatay Foundation, which was established in 2010.
He is still an active member of Antakya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors and Wind Energy Industrialists and Businessmen Association (RESIAD).
Although Mehmet İhsan Aydeğer does not continue his professional life actively, he is currently sharing his professional experiences as the founder and president of the Infrastructure Contractors Association.
